We know that college life doesn’t always go as planned. Sometimes unexpected challenges come up that make it harder to stay enrolled, stay focused, or keep moving forward. The Student Success Fund is here to help with those moments.

As a valued member of our LMC Red Hawk community, you matter to us. We want you here, and we are committed to walking alongside you through challenges so you can continue your journey. When obstacles come up, we’ll work with you to figure out a way forward - together.

This fund provides financial assistance to help remove barriers that may stand in the way of your success and completion. If something is causing stress or making it difficult to stay in school, we encourage you to reach out, don’t assume it won’t qualify. If you’re unsure, apply anyway. We’ll take a look and do our best to help you figure out a solution.

What the Student Success Fund can help with

Almost any unexpected expense that creates a barrier to your success may be eligible. 

Examples include:

• Housing concerns or emergency housing needs
• Food or essential household needs
• Transportation issues (car repairs, gas, bus passes, etc.)
• Health-related expenses
• Childcare or family care needs
• Technology or internet access needs for coursework
• Personal safety or urgent personal situations
• Books and required course materials
• Enrollment or registration-related costs
• Other unexpected financial challenges

Eligibility

If you are currently enrolled as a student at LMC, you are eligible to apply for the Student Success Fund. That’s it.

We encourage you to reach out if you are experiencing an unexpected financial challenge that is making it difficult to stay enrolled, stay focused, or move forward in your classes.

If you’re unsure whether your situation qualifies, we still encourage you to apply. We will review each request individually and work with you to explore possible support options.
