Fall 2021 Enrollment Services

Application deadline for Fall 2021 admission is Thursday, Sept. 2.

We are excited to welcome you to campus for Fall 2021! As you work through your enrollment steps and need assistance, we are happy to help you! Our in-person walk-in services hours are listed below. All services are still available via phone, e-mail, and your student portal, including Satisfactory Academic Progress status, financial aid awards, Navigate, registration and planning, and your books and schedule

Please note that this is the busiest time of year at the college. Your kindness and patience with staff is appreciated. You can expect wait times for in-person walk-in services and a 48-business hour return time for phone calls, e-mails and texts. 

Please evaluate your own health and do not come to campus if you are sick or quarantining. We would be happy to assist you remotely, see below for contact information.

Walk-in enrollment services are available beginning August 2 through August 26. If you plan to register for fall classes, you will need to complete the enrollment process during this time. After August 26, we cannot guarantee that the enrollment process can be completed in time to start classes on September 7.

To make the enrollment process as efficient as possible, bring the following items:

  • High school transcripts
  • ACT or SAT scores
  • Any previous college transcripts

Unofficial copies of these items are great for us to start working with you and we can provide information to order any official copies as needed.

Frequently Asked Questions

If you have been approved you will receive notification to your LMC e-mail. 

Visit the Bookstore website and select the bookstore for your campus and input your class schedule. A booklist will appear – you will need to purchase or rent all required books. 

Typically 24 hours before your class begins.

Classes are canceled for a variety of reasons. The most common are for low enrollment or not being able to secure an instructor.

Sept. 3 is the last day to add courses.

To get the most out of your appointment, make sure the following items are complete prior to meeting with your advisor: 

  • Applied to the college
  • Submitted your High School Transcripts
  • Submitted your ACT or SAT scores, or taken the Placement test
  • Submitted any college transcripts and contacted records@lakemichigancollege.edu to have them evaluated by your appointment date
  • Completed the online new student orientation
