Supporting LMC and our students
To our donors and investors of students at Lake Michigan College:
There has been a security incident involving Blackbaud, Inc., a third-party vendor who hosts data for the Lake Michigan College Foundation.
Fortunately, credit card numbers, social security numbers, bank account information, or similar high-risk data, were protected in encrypted fields and not vulnerable to the cyberattack.
At this time, we believe there is no risk to any of our donors as a result of this incident. Our IT department is continuing to work with Blackbaud to learn more about the breach and develop enhanced preventative measures for the future.
Lake Michigan College takes our data protection responsibilities very seriously and we expect our vendors to do the same. We regret any concern or inconvenience this may cause. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions.
Thank you very much for your friendship and generous support!

From the President
Lake Michigan College is a key contributor to the vitality of the region we all call home. Its innovative approach to education, its responsiveness to providing a trained workforce, its location as a center for cultural and community events - all make LMC an invaluable resource as together we face the challenges of a rapidly changing world.
The Lake Michigan College Foundation and its Board of Directors are dedicated and visionary leaders from across the region the College serves. They recognize the need for private support of the College to maintain premier programs and services in the pursuit of excellence. Representing business, industry, and manufacturing; banking, insurance, and finance; education, health care and the law, the members bring their collective expertise to the support the advancement of the College and they do it well.
We hope you will explore our Foundation website and discover the many ways the Foundation is helping Lake Michigan College create a Lake Effect that improves the lives of our students, our faculty and staff, and our region.
