LMC Foundation

The Lake Michigan College (LMC) Foundation was formed and incorporated in 1986 as an independent 501(c)(3) organization for the purpose of stimulating voluntary, private support from alumni, parents, friends, corporations, foundations, and others for the benefit of Lake Michigan College.

The LMC Foundation exists to raise and manage corporate, institutional, and personal donations for scholarships and other resources that support the mission and priorities of Lake Michigan College.

From the President

Lake Michigan College is a key contributor to the vitality of the region we all call home. Its innovative approach to education, its responsiveness to providing a trained workforce, its location as a center for cultural and community events - all make LMC an invaluable resource as together we face the challenges of a rapidly changing world.

The Lake Michigan College Foundation and its Board of Directors are dedicated and visionary leaders from across the region the College serves. They recognize the need for private support of the College to maintain premier programs and services in the pursuit of excellence. Representing business, industry, and manufacturing; banking, insurance, and finance; education, health care and the law, the members bring their collective expertise to the support the advancement of the College and they do it well.

We hope you will explore our Foundation website and discover the many ways the Foundation is helping Lake Michigan College create a Lake Effect that improves the lives of our students, our faculty and staff, and our region. You will also learn of ways you, too, can make a difference and help LMC fulfill dreams.
