LMC Hosts Spring Tour Days with Faculty
Lake Michigan College is hosting four campus tour days this spring at their Benton Harbor location. Tours will include opportunities for students to meet with faculty who teach in their academic programs of interest.
“It’s great for prospective students to get their college and career questions answered directly by professors who are experts in their fields, and for students with similar interests to meet each other,” LMC’s Director, Admissions and Recruitment Jeremy Schaeffer said. “Tour days highlighting specific areas of study are a great way to showcase LMC’s growing campus and new academic program spaces.
Each month from February to May has one Saturday tour day. The first is Saturday, Feb. 15 with a faculty session focused on Manufacturing, Energy and Technology. The next one is March 14 with faculty in the Wine & Viticulture and Visual & Performing Arts programs. The April 11 date is focused on Arts & Sciences and Health Sciences. And lastly the May 17 tour will have a session with faculty from Business and Computer Information Systems. Students who participate in a tour are welcome to stay for the faculty portion, but are not required.
Students who plan to attend college in the 2020-21 academic year are encouraged to attend.
