For the first time, Lake Michigan College is offering English as a Second Language (ESL) classes completely online in May-June and July-August sessions.
Students meet face-to-face using the Zoom app with an experienced instructor and engage in various speaking, listening, reading, and writing activities. Classes meet two days each week (either Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday) for 1.5 hours each class session. Students also will work for an hour on an online platform provided by the textbook publisher.
