Lake Michigan College inducts new honor society members

BENTON HARBOR, Mich. – Lake Michigan College inducted 58 students into the Mu Nu chapter of Phi Theta Kappa during its annual banquet on April 22 in the Lake Michigan College Mendel Center Grand Upton Hall. Officers for the 2026-2027 academic year were also announced. They are:

Leadership Officer – Lynzi Zimmerle
Membership Outreach – Bridget Anderson
Secretary – Maori Asare

PTK is the international community college honor society which focuses on service, scholarship, leadership, and fellowship. PTK members participate in community service projects, leadership opportunities, social events, and monthly meetings. 

Membership is by invitation to students who have completed at least 12 credits at the 100 level or above and have a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher.
