AHA HeartSaver and BLS

The Basic Life Support Provider is a four (4) hour course that provides health care professionals with the knowledge and skills needed to perform CPR. Students will learn how to respond appropriately to breathing and cardiac emergencies and how to properly use an automated external defibrillator (AED). American Heart Certification issued upon successful completion of the course. There is a maximum of 14 participants per session.

The Heartsaver course is a four hour course in which community members will learn how to recognize when someone needs CPR, how to call for help, and how to give CPR and use an AED. Participants can also learn the basics of first aid, how to recognize emergencies, and how to help. Contact HEALTHSCIENCES@LAKEMICHIGANCOLLEGE.EDU or call (269) 927-8768 for scheduling information.
