The Pharmacy Technician program prepares students for entry-level pharmacy technician positions in hospitals and retail stores. The program provides valuable hands-on experience under the supervision of a pharmacist.

Upon completion of the 51-credit program, you may apply for an Advanced Certificate.

All students in the Pharmacy Technician program are required to pass a criminal background check and drug screen prior to participating in the Pharmacy Technician program courses.

Students must also complete a physical exam and provide proof of the following:

MMR (Measles, Mumps & Rubella)
Tdap (Tetanus, Diphtheria, Pertussis)
Varicella
Hepatitis B
COVID-19 vaccination
Annual TB testing (PPD skin test or blood test accepted)
Annual influenza vaccination
