Wines of Tasmania

Tasmania is one of the most exciting cool-climate wine regions in the world today.

Tasmania produces elegant and expressive wines shaped by maritime influence and long growing seasons. In this guided tasting, we’ll explore six wines that showcase the distinctive character of Tasmania and the grape varieties that thrive there.

Together, we’ll taste examples of Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and sparkling wines, along with other regional specialties, while discussing Tasmania’s geography, climate, and winemaking traditions. You will gain a deeper understanding of why Tasmania has become one of the Southern Hemisphere’s most dynamic wine regions.

Whether you are new to Tasmanian wine or already familiar with cool-climate styles from Australia, this tasting offers a hands-on introduction to a region worth knowing.
