Lake Michigan College (the College) may use contractors and on-campus partners to provide some of its services. The College extends selected employee benefits to employees of certain contractors and on-campus partners, reflecting its commitment to collaboration and mutual support.
Eligibility:
- The contractor or on-campus partner must be regularly assigned to and scheduled at the College.
- The individual must be a full- or part-time employee of the contractor or on-campus partner.
Benefits Offered:
- Tuition Waiver - 3 contact hours of tuition will be waived for each of Fall and Spring semesters. Participants will be responsible for all course fees. This benefit is taxable to the contractor or on-campus partner employee.
- Attendance at College professional development events, such as LMC Day, as paid hours.
- Attendance at Collegewide engagement events, such as LMC Picnic and Holiday Party, as paid hours.
- Participation in College-sponsored professional development, such as Tech Tuesdays and Lunch and Learn presentations, as paid hours.
- Eligibility to be recognized in the Red Hawk Recognition program.
- Use of the dry-cleaning drop-off/pick-up services.
- Free use of the Fitness Studio on the individual’s own time.
- Discounts to Mendel Center shows equal to that provided to College employees.
- Whirlpool Inside Pass discount equal to that provided to College employees.
- Discount of 10% off general merchandise at the bookstore (excluding food and textbooks).
- LMC Photo ID.
