Jada Willis is a graduate of Morgan State University and Lake Michigan College, where she studied sociology and music, which reflects her passion for understanding communities and uplifting youth.
She earned multiple honors, including Dean’s List recognition and the MLK Student Spotlight Award.
Guided by her philosophy of “being the voice for the voiceless,” she is deeply passionate about social change, advocacy, and equity. These values
closely align with the mission of Upward Bound.
In addition to her academic and professional work, Jada is an accomplished musician who
has acted in numerous musicals, toured in Italy, and performed alongside renowned gospel artists.
She looks forward to empowering students as they grow, persist, and excel.
