Shalico Sain is an Arts Educator and Director with an MA in Theatre and Teaching Credential from San Diego State University. She also holds a BA in English from Michigan State University. She worked as a teaching artist at The Globe Theatre and the La Jolla Playhouse, in San Diego, CA. She later ran a successful Drama program at Aliso Niguel High School in Laguna Niguel, CA, and served as the Education Director at San Diego Junior Theatre. Shalico’s training includes Augusto Boal’s Theatre of the Oppressed Workshops, and Suzuki/Viewpoints at Burning Wheel Theatre, which has culminated in her collaborative, organic style of theater-making. She currently serves as a Theatre Instructor at Lake Michigan College and is excited to create fabulous art with the students at Lake Michigan College!
