Think about the last time you got your blood drawn – how did you feel? Were you nervous? Anxious? Even downright scared? But then the person drawing your blood flashed a smile, cracked a joke and was done before you even noticed. That person – a phlebotomy technician – is on the front lines of health and patient care, and is part of an exciting and growing career field. If you enjoy making people comfortable and calm, are fascinated by the medical field and enjoy working with people, a career in phlebotomy might be right for you.
