Why study the arts at LMC?

Put your passion in the spotlight. Whether your love is on stage or on the canvas, we have a role for you.

Design your career. From fine arts to applied arts, you can find a career that fits. You could work as a computer animator, graphic designer, art director, set or costume designer, playwright, composer or director.

Rehearse for your future. At LMC, you can earn an associate’s degree in fine art, graphic design, theatre or music. LMC also offers a certificate in graphic design. From there, our advisors can help you transfer to a four-year school and continue your education.

The Visual & Performing Arts Department is housed in the Mendel Center, the largest performing arts facility in the region, which also has a wide variety of performing arts events for the whole community to enjoy.
