In just a few minutes, you’ll discover your strengths, explore career options, and see how your interests connect to majors and jobs. After you complete the assessment, schedule an appointment with Career Services—we’ll help you make sense of your results and plan your next steps.

Handshake is your go-to career platform at LMC. Use it to find jobs, internships, and work-study positions, connect with employers, and discover resources like resume samples and recorded workshops. You can even book an appointment with Career Services right through the app. Students and alumni can access their account with their LMC email at Handshake.

Want to earn money on campus? Work Study jobs put you in the center of campus life while helping you build skills employers value. All openings are posted on Handshake. Once you’ve claimed your account, log in to search and apply for LMC Work Study positions.
Discover Internships
Internships let you test-drive a career, gain real-world experience, and build your network. You’ll find opportunities—local, national, and remote—on Handshake. LMC also partners with the Whirlpool Foundation to offer the Earn & Learn Internship Program, which provides paid summer internships with local employers.
