Susan Eastman is the Executive Assistant of Governmental Relations and Student Success at Lake Michigan College in Benton Harbor, MI. She works with Governmental Programs and serves as a member of the Student Affairs Leadership Team to ensure quality student experiences. She earned an Associate of Arts from Lake Michigan College and a Bachelor of Science degree in General Studies from Western Michigan University with areas of concentration in Business, English, and Consumer Science.

Dr. Kenneth Flowers is a proud graduate of Lake Michigan College. He spent the first 14 years of his career in manufacturing, starting in the mold making industry as an apprentice and ultimately finishing as journeyman mold maker and mold designer at Hanson Mold. Since 1997 he has worked at Lake Michigan College in the Career and Workforce Education Division as an adjunct faculty, full time faculty, Department Chair, Dean of Career and Workforce Education, and the Provost and Vice President of Academics. Dr. Flowers has been the Executive Vice President since May, 2025. He lives in St. Joseph, MI with wife Misty. Ken and Misty have two children, Austin and Lindsey, and two beautiful granddaughters, Ryatt & Blair.

Melissa Grau is the Executive Director, Intercollegiate Athletics and Campus Life for Lake Michigan College in Benton Harbor, MI. She oversees nine intercollegiate sports teams, Esports, Beckwith Hall, and Campus Life. She received her Bachelor's of Arts from Hillsdale College and her Master's in Business Administration from Central Michigan University.

Sara Skinner is the Registrar for Lake Michigan College. Her base of operations is the Benton Harbor Campus where she works with student Records, Registration, One Stop, Veteran and International Student services, and FERPA compliance. She is an alumna of Lake Michigan College (Go Red Hawks!), where she completed her Associate in Arts degree; she received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Siena Heights University.

Sarah earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Michigan State University in 2017 and her master’s degree in Higher Education and Student Affairs from Western Michigan University in 2023. She is passionate about creating inclusive and welcoming campus environments where students feel connected and supported, and she is excited to be part of the LMC community.

Prior to her role as Associate Director of Student Life at Lake Michigan College, Sarah spent several years working with Orientation at Michigan State University and most recently served for three years as the Campus Life Coordinator at Bellin College in Green Bay, Wisconsin. As a Michigan native, she is especially excited to return to her home state and support students at LMC.

Outside of work, Sarah enjoys staying at home, snacking on Cheez-Its, completing jigsaw puzzles, and spending time with her two cats.
