The Network Administration AAS will allow you to develop skills using the network equipment standard found throughout the world - CISCO. Students preparing for a career in Information Technology and Networking learn analytical and critical thinking skills, as well as the technical skills necessary to be successful. This program aligns students for the following industry professonal certifications: CompTIA A+, Security+, Cloud+, Linux+, as well as Microsoft Server and Cisco CCNA. At Lake Michigan College, hands-on learning opportunities are provided online and in computer labs using both physical and virtual hardware and software. In addition, students build important soft skills such as interpersonal communications, problem-solving, team-building, and project management.
