The AAS in Business program prepares graduates for entry-level and managerial positions in business. This program is designed to prepare you to contribute immediately in an office environment. If you are currently employed, this degree can be used as a stepping stone for future career growth.
In this program, you'll develop functional business knowledge, apply professional and effective business communication, develop analytical and problem-solving skills, and understand computer-based information systems. You will also recognize and analyze ethical issues, demonstrate professional behaviors and acquire an appreciation for diverse perspectives.
You can find employment across a wide spectrum of industries in entry-level and managerial positions that can represent customer service, sales, administration and executive assistants.
This AAS program is offered as both a traditional and a fully-online program. The four-semester online program allows motivated and ambitious full-time students to complete a degree in 16 months, including summer sessions. The program centers around a customized schedule of classes with select courses taught in accelerated seven-week sessions so you can juggle fewer courses at a time.
